    ZTE emphasizes AI-Driven network service at its Global Services Ecosystem Forum in Indonesia

    Jakarta, Indonesia, 23 May 2025 – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, successfully hosted the 2025 ZTE Global Services Ecosystem Forum in Jakarta, Indonesia. Held under the theme "Ultimate Service for an AI-Driven Win-Win Future", the forum brought together industry experts, operator customers, and over 30 key partners across the Asia-Pacific region to explore service innovation and ecosystem collaboration in the age of AI-powered digital transformation.

    Sun Fangping, SVP of ZTE, delivered a welcome speech and emphasized that in the era of intelligence, ZTE is deepening its investments in AI and accelerating its "Connectivity + Intelligent Computing" strategy. He reaffirmed ZTE Global Services' strategic goal of "Beyond Industry Standards and Customer Expectations", while advancing toward "Zero Negative Comments on Services and Zero Complaints from Customers" through leading digital and intelligent delivery. ZTE aims to foster a sustainable, open, and win-win ecosystem in partnership with global players.

     

    Shurish Subbramaniam, CTO of XLSMART, delivered a keynote highlighting Indonesia's booming digital economy and expanding 5G footprint. He emphasized that the strategic dual-network integration project with ZTE marks a pivotal milestone in advancing Indonesia's digital infrastructure landscape. XLSMART is committed to delivering seamless, high-quality services to ensure that both businesses and individuals benefit from the digital dividend.

     

    Feng Tao, Senior Strategy Planner at ZTE, analyzed the impact of global political and economic uncertainties on the Asia-Pacific telecom sector, calling for collaborative innovation to enhance resilience and promote sustainable growth.

     

    An Wei, Director of ZTE CTO Group, addressed key industry trends, such as AI and dual-network integration, along with ZTE's latest practices in these areas. He emphasized that AI is reshaping the value of networks. ZTE will continue to position "Connectivity + Intelligent Computing" at the core of its strategy and work closely with global partners to lead the future of intelligent computing and next-generation network connectivity.

     

    Henry Lee Siew Hang, Director of PMI Malaysia Chapter, provided a forward-looking perspective on AI-driven project management, discussing how AI is revolutionizing operations through intelligent risk control, automation, and human-machine collaboration.

     

    Dr. Ir. Bambang Setia Nugroho, Dean of the Research Institute at Telkom University, shared the university's joint efforts with ZTE to nurture over 800 cross-skilled professionals in 5G and AI operations, helping strengthen the local digital talent ecosystem.

     

    Shen Hui, Vice President of ZTE, outlined ZTE's latest practices in digital and intelligent network services. He reported that ZTE has delivered over 5,000 projects, built more than 1.3 million base stations, and deployed over 37,000 km of OSP fiber across Asia, supported by 970+ partners and serving 130+ operators with a combined user base of 500 million. In 2025, ZTE will further solidify its network business and scale its investment in second-curve businesses and deepen ecosystem cooperation to set new industry benchmarks.

     

    Chen Peng, Deputy Director of ZTE's Service Delivery Department, introduced ZTE's full-stack capabilities in data center engineering, highlighting its end-to-end lifecycle solutions—from design and construction to O&M. ZTE has delivered numerous green, high-performance data centers, accelerating customers' computing power infrastructure development.

     

    Partner executives such as Zhou Dao, CEO of CCSI, and Teh Yee Keong, MD of PT MAXON, reflected on their strategic cooperation with ZTE across ICT, data centers, and renewable energy. They expressed confidence in expanding their joint market footprint through shared technologies and collaborative innovation.

     

    During the forum, in the presence of XLSMART CTO Shurish Subbramaniam and ZTE SVP Sun Fangping, ZTE signed a delivery commitment agreement with key partners. Through resource integration and technological synergy, the parties will jointly build an evolvable, sustainable, and intelligent network to support customers in driving business innovation and digital transformation.
